ā€œI started mosaics around seven years ago with my grandson making stepping stones for his flower garden. I watched a couple YouTubes videos on how to and got a couple books. I initially used rocks, broken ceramics, and variety of tiles, but wanted more color so started using stained glass. (No joke, my DNA is in all my work) I am partially color blind, green/red, and sometimes wonder what everyone else sees. Mosaics is a fun media that can be used on so many applications. I moved to Tennessee approximately five years ago, and now most of my work is inspired by the beauty and nature in Tennessee. My interest in the arts is growing and I really enjoy learning about all the creativity in our community.ā€œ
