Help at Mountain Makins
The 42nd Annual Mountain Makins Festival is October 28th and 29th. The proceeds from the donated baked goods in Country Store god directly to support Rose Center and its many are, educational and historical programs. The support of organizations, churches and individuals donating baked goods makes the Country Store a success each year. Pies, cakes, cookies, brownies, bar cookies, chocolate and peanut butter fudge are popular selling items. Country Store occasionally has requests for sugar free baked goods, seasonal items such as pumpkin and squash baked goods as well as old fashioned items as Hummingbird Cake and Italian Creme Cake. Whatever your specialty is, we hope you will share it with us. Your items can be brought to Rose Center Community Room kitchen on Friday, October 27th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. To aid in selling, please use disposable containers. Label your baked goods. Note if it contains nuts. Consider slicing and labeling in Ziploc bags. Place 4 to 6 pieces per bag. I have been there 4 times and cannot get the code to work. Guess I am too dumb to work that screen. If anyone has some suggestions, I would appreciate it.
The Fine Art Photography show will be in October and hang until the end of November
